Site in Spanish
Hello,
I posted this question once before, but now I will clear it up a little more.
I have to create a site in spanish. I have researched a few spanish sites, and find that the only thing that they declare is meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"
I figure I would have to add that little tidbit, but I am also wondering do I have to use the iso-8859-1 codes? or can I just type them out? as you can see when I type it out é it appears as it should, and also when I use the iso code it appears as it should é .
If anyone has any answers please help!
Thanks

Hi Ken,
Never having played with another language (except verbally), I'm on very shaky ground here. I would assume using the codes is the safer way to go. You never know how a specific browser will react to the actual letter if it expects the code.

Thanks Vincent,
I did just as you suggested, (I was actually hoping that I wouldn't have to), and it appears to be working fine, in all the systems I have tested it on. It wasn't as hard as I anticipated it would be. I told the client to give me until this Friday...but it is Wednesday, and I'm already done! They'll be pleased.
Thanks again for your opinion Vincent!
