Simple (?) browser appearance thing I can't figure out...
PLEASE HELP ME.
Alright, you know when you enter a website address, for instance and they have ingeniously implanted a tiny 'icon' or 'avatar' before the address? In this site's case, it's a little red recycle icon, google.com has a "G" in a square, hopefully you get what I'm talking about...
Anyway, how the heck do I do that? I've gone through mounds of code and cannot figure it out. Please help me. I know it's got to be something really easy or something humanly impossible.

Those are called favicons, have a look around this forum, it's been discussed before.

Or check http://www.chami.com/html-kit/services/favicon/ to make your own. Once you've made it, the program will show you the code to use.

I tried the Favicons UK site before I asked and it didn't work despite following instructions and trying on several different sites I manage, so I'll see where 'teammatt3' is telling me where to go...

I can vouch for the site that teammatt3 refers to. I've used it on several of my sites.
