Sidebar's Look and Function HELP

If you go to http://www.smartrealtyinfo.com/_TEMP2.html, take a look at the side bar (Smart Owners, Smart Sellers, Smart Buyers, Smart Financing). I want that specific bar to look like the one below it (Calculators, Math & Measurements, Important Terms, Team Work, Local Info, Find a Job, Contact) but I want when you hover over each one an additional menu expand to the right.

I tried adding some javascript and adjusting my css. That specific bar doesn't exactly look like the one below and I can't even get it to work the way I want even in just one browser. They behave differently in IE7 and FF (such a surprise). But since I'm a n00b apparently it is probably my fault.

The javascript and css is located at http://www.smartrealtyinfo.com/css/. The style for the bar is in my css as /*sidebar scroll*/.

If someone can get me going I would be very very very very greatful!!!

In FF I am not getting the blue highlight on a link like I am in IE, how can I fix this?

can you specify the problem a bit? I visited the page, and I dont see the error you say...
