see if you can work this out ! ! !
Heres the page I have a problem with..
http://users.breathemail.net/daniel.clough/training.html
Look at the bottom table. (I've put a border of 1 around it so you can see it.
See the large whit gap beneathe it ? Why is it there ?
The code is very basic for the table. 1 tr and 2 x td's on the row. Thats it. However evrything is fine (page is all filled) untill I actually insert the code for the lower banner in the left td and then it puts thoe huge gap there?
Help me as I am confused ! ! !

I don't really understand the problem. I see the big white space below your table, but that's there because your left menu makes the page that long, and your content area is shorter...

Yeah I can see why you think that, but every thing is o.k before you put the banner in the table. The page is filled up nicely.
Its only when you actually put the "banner4.gif" bit in that it makes that large space.
Look at the nutrition page to see what I mean....
I just noticed that when you put the banner in the table it shortens the width of the page and therefore spaces out the nav bar ? ? ? ? How come ? ? ? ?

The combo of your banner and the "archives" graphic looks to be too wide for the cell it's in, thus it pushes the nav bar on the left narrower to compensate, even though you specify a width of 150 on it. Since the nav column is narrower, but still has the same amount of text to display, it gets longer. That's where the whitespace comes in below the banner.
The banner alone should be narrow enough for the cell, so maybe play with putting the archive graphic above or below it?

Yep thats it. I took out the archive button and it sorts itself out !!
woohoooooooo...
I've decided the banners not going there now as it looks to big at the bottom of the page. Gonna try and get a smaller less in your face on.
Cheers !!
