Removing the menu on Xoom
I recently saw a post on another message that I found interesting. The person gave the following code:
<SCRIPT>
if (top.location != self.location)
{ top.location = self.location }
</SCRIPT>
You place that code in your index.html, and the menubar will NOT appear at the top of your screen. I checked out his page and it worked.
Use it at your own risk though

Use at your own risk indeed.
Looks like a sure violation of the Terms of Service, and since XOOM provides users with webspace in exchange for pageviews and advertising revenue, some lawyer somewhere will equate it to theft of service.
So, expect to get lawyers or expect to get your site bounced if you pull a stunt like that

Well, I posted that somewhere, (someone else could have as well), but that isn't what I had intended it for.
It is mostly a nice little snippet to keep people from linking to your framed pages. Free services depend on ads, and if that isn't something you want then there are plenty of cheap hosts out there with better quality than xoom.
