You can do it as a behaviour by choosing 'Go to URL' from the behaviours list which allows you to put in the page you want to redirect to then make sure the action is 'on load'

I think you mean it wont let you change the event handler right? Like it only lets you choose onmouseover or something? Anyways I had that problem a while ago. If you just add the action as an onmouseover you can go View -> Source and then find the link and change it manually to onload.
Hope this isnt to confusing.

The events being grayed out is normally due to the browser versions you have specified. If you have an older one specified then you'll have less choice for on click, etc.

Do you want it to redirect after a certian length of time, once the main page has opened, into another window or the same one, a normal window or a certain sized one???
