Question about bbedit
I'm using bbedit 6.5 and i would like to insert a line at every 1000 lines is that possible without writing a script.

I don't think so, but you can write little actions in BBEdit to do pretty well anything? I'd check with BareBones themselves for a question like that.

sorry! What do you need to write every 1000 lines? (and what are you writing that has thousands of lines!) I'm just curious, answer at your leisure, lol.

i'm exporting old databases from filemaker to csv i have to edit a few things in them and then import them in MySQL. i want to insert the rows by set of 1000 so i don't have to start every thing back if ever something goes wrong. Any way bbedit wouldn't have been a good solution since only the search and replace i'm doing right now is only getting to half of the first file after 20min of using all my machine ressource.
