Problem when I preview on Netscape. Any advive much appreciated.
Following Jack Michaelson's much appreciated assistance to a question yesterday, I wonder whether I could burden you good folk with another query please?
Basically I committed the cardinal sin of Web Design and I forget to check the state of play of my site on Netscape to see how it was looking and when I did (even at this preliminary stage what a shocker!)
I take it the problem relates to the use of CSS in the design of my site and what baffles me most is the overspill of the navigation table onto the main content table.
I've temporarily uploaded the site for perusal to http://www.dannybaker.force9.co.uk/stmarys/index.htm
and I'd be your collective debt if someone could please bail me out here and tell me how to rectify the situation.
On a similar note I notice the browser offset is playing up even though I thought I'd inserted a line of code to rectify this?
Lastly, how can I reduce the border on the small box in the far-right navigation table?
I set the column width for 1 pixel and I'm snookered how to make the line any finer?
Many thanks folks, any help or advice, much, much appreciated.
Regards
Andrew

I would say that it probably has somehting to do with the way you have sized the columns in the middle table. The three columns you have go 140px / 100% / 164px. As your layout doesn't stretch to fit the screen then you need to make that table 758px wide and then the middle column 453px wide. Everything has to be just so with NS and little things like this will completely throw things out!

Webmistress many thanks, I tried what you suggested and it now works a treat, much appreciated.
Also got the browser offset problem sussed - I'd forgotten to define the outer table's border as 0 - Whoops!
Now just a matter of trying to sort out the border on the small box in the far-right navigation table?
I set the column width for 1 pixel (with a 1 Px space gif) and I'm snookered how to make the line any finer?
Again, any assistance her much appreciated.

Andrew

No problems, glad to help
Which line/box are you talking about? I really don't think you can have anything smaller than 1px??

In the third column of the main table of the site (the one that is 164Pxs wide) I have a small box to the top and I would like to make the left and right border much thinner lines.
Sounds easy right, but "Man Alive"!
Cheers
