_Problem loading BIG QT movies in iExp on OSX

I’m making a CD/Website for an artist friend. We’ve embedded some large movies (one is 272 MB) into HTML pages and they run fine in all the browsers we’ve tried, except iExplorer on Mac OSX. IExplorer on Mac OSX runs the Movies reluctantly or not at all. It will run movies under 30Mb OK just the big ones run poorly or not at all.

Netscape opens and plays the Movies instantly.

I’ve tried using both embed and object and imbed together. Any suggestions?

Here the code:

The movie is to big to see over the web.Confused

... wow now thats a big movie file....why not try splitting them up into smaller files?

The problem seems to be the way iExp caches files. We recompressed the movie down to 50Mb and it was still slow until we increased the cache to 100Mb. The same thing happens under Windows. Increase the cache and it loads much better. Netscape is just way better on memory/cache issues.

Thanks for the suggestion though, and also thanks to anyone who peered in.
