Prob with site look in NetScape

Hi,

My design at http://www.robteck.com/new/index.shtml looks some what differant in net scape but i would like them to look the same i was wonderin if somebody could help me out here i been trying to get the black lines back from around the nav bar for ages Sad thx... .

Interesting way of doing table borders! It can't work this way in netscape though. The problem is that netscape doesn't display table background colours unless there is actual content placed inside it. So, if I define a table cell with a background colour like this:

Netscape won't show anything because there is nothing in the cell. If I do this:

 

Netscape will display the red cell because there is something in that cell.

IE, on the other hand, displays table background colours no matter what. So in this case, it is displaying the black background in the cellpadding area you've set.

What you have to do is create 1 pixel borders around your boxes using table cells with black backgrounds and spacer (transparent) gif's to fill them in so netscape will display them. The code to create the box will look something like this:
