How do you place a font in the text so that the viewer can see the font you used without having it on his computer.
eg. want viewer to see font = van derrick but viewer doesn't have van derrick own their computer.

There is a very seldom used non-stardardized option to do this with IE > 4.x. I think a W3 standard has been realeased about this topic but its not supported yet.
Thus if you really need to use a certains font, the only usable option is to use 4 color GIFs which might actually be faster loading than downloading the font before the page can be displayed.
