Time, luck, and alot of work, and patience...
It didn't happen overnight, it took over two years for me to get the kind of traffic I have now ( it's more along the lines of 600,000 page views per month now )
The first thing you need to do is just work on your site, make it a good as possible so that people will return.
For search engine help, put up a post in the Search Engine Promotion forum, I'm sure there are some webmasters who can help out with what you need to do.
Trade links with other sites that have similar content, that will help also.
I'm sure others will have some more tips for you as well.
By the way, what is your url, maybe we can have a look?

600,000 page views a month a fantastic. You have done really well for yourself John. You have some great tutorials at your site. Overall it is a very neat site. Just wondering how much time do you spend on the site per week?

Thanks. I spend about 40 hrs. a week doing various things related to the site. Maintenance, working out link exchanges, advertisers, updates, and other things. It takes up quite a bit of my time.

I don't currently have the free time to begin new project, but if you put up a post in the Barter forum there might be someone interested, or someone to give you a good idea of what to do a new site on.

Hello John. I have to tell you that I spent on your site every day 5 minutes at least. I also have a site like yours with articles but for spanish webmasters @ www.developy.com
It is still growing and I have to tell you I spend a lot of my time on it, but I am doing it alone, without any help
I hope I find a spanish partner soon, hehe
Again, nice site John !!

Thanks, Nico!
Best of luck with your site, it looks really good from the parts I can understand with my limited Spanish knowledge.
