Probably because the one you are using is poorly written.
At any rate, no-rightClick scripts do not work.
1) hold down your left key; then your right; lift left; then right -- view source!
2) File - Save
3) internet temporary folder
4) no code you have written is worth stealing
5) any code you have written has been written by someone else -- better
6) nothing you have drawn with PaintShop Pro (etal) is worth stealing & being sold; if it were, you would be using canvas.
7) if you are really concerned about your artwork, use watermarks, sign your work, threaten and follow up with lawsuits

If you post give us a URL for both scripts (no-right click & cursor trails) we can have a look and tell you. As Vinny said it is most likely due to poor programming.
The best thing about no-right click scripts is that they rarely work. Why would you want to use one anyway? If your content is so important then it should'nt be on the net in the first place.
Thanks Jack
But, I decided a while back, if a site has a no-rightClick in effect, I don't bother helping the guy fix it. (Unless he/she wants to pay the big bucks.)

You shouldn't shout, especially when you're wrong. I was trying to be amusing -- oh well, guess my demented, preverted Brooklynese outlook on life is a bit much at times, as well as my frustrated poetic images.
Well...
As Jack says: who cares??
Oh Jack, thanks I thought it was kinda deep too, like quiet's name.

Gee quiet -- don't know about Buds -- I'm getting too fat as it is nowadays; besides the drink of preference in my household is currently mimosas (have to get my vitamin C somehow) Insofar as the cats: Naw -- haven't had any since my first wife. 'Doobie Brothers' ? Shoot! I listen to music -- Cream, Queen, Beatles, Joplin, Hendrix, Dylan -- bob, not thomas (him I read) -- Moody Blues, Loving Spoonful, Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Thelonius Monk, Clapton, etc. But, Doobies? that's something you pass around at a party, right?
Hi Graphics: the moment's never lost; it just slips to the side every now and then, waiting, lurking (like the cats in 4c) for the mouse to roll over -- click and you're redirected, sent to another location: the twilight zone.
