Hi

Is there a CGI script which allows you to have a different user name and password to access the filman for different parts of the site.

EG:

If I wanted to have someone who could access the files (edit/ delete/ chmod/ upload etc) for the directory /dir/celebrities but I didn't want that user to be able to manage /dir/britneyspears

please help

You can probably find a script that will work here http://cgi.resourceindex.com/Programs_and_Scripts/Perl/Password_Protection/

Isn't that more of a system permisions thing rather than CGI?
