MS Word in a Frame

Can anyone help me with this one, I want to launch MS Word within a frame to pick up the toolbar options from word rather than the browser. Can anyone tell me how to do this ...please please please please

It's not obvious why you would want to do it. Could you explain briefly what you are trying to accomplish?

You can launch any resource by typing the resource URL in your browser address window, so I guess something like c:\programs\ etc.etc might work (although it may not actually run IN the browser window).

I can't think of a good and safe application for this, and I don't think you will be able to get it to load into a frame, as that is just not how to it works. Unlike Acrobat, Word is not designed for online use.

You can however, call it to open by having the link be a file with the .doc extension. Then the viewer will have the option of opening it right away or saving it to open after they have virus checked it.

You might be able to call it up using IE-specific code. Go to MS site (but that means non-IE won't recognize the code)
