Lines around links

Sorry about this i know i have seen it before here but i cant seem to find it

i have a menu i am testing like a windows explorer thing without the pluses and lines, but when i click on the word to expand it the little "link line" apears around it like when you click on any link.

But this line means you can hardly read the title so how do you get rid of it?

the window.focus() gets rid of the dotted outline with IE (NN does not outline clicked image links, anyway).

Is that what you were looking for??
