Lightbox: can I format the look of the caption text?

Can I format (bold, underline, new line) my caption text in the lighbox?

Is there a way to format a caption in lightbox?
By formatting I mean for example adding new lines and bolding, underlining text.
Do we have to pass the text from a file somehow or can we just embed it all (with tags such as , , within the title tag?

How to do it so that it still validates?
