letting users customize the main page?
Can anyone explain to me how I can let my vistors customize the main page(like excite)? I would like to give my visitors options to what they want or dont want to see on the main page. I know there is a few different ways of doing that... can someone point me to a right script or suggest any other way...

you'll need to give ur users a cookie to that. the best way is throught cgi/perl.

Can You tell me where I could find a script that wolud do that? I checked cgi-resources but did not find it... There shoud be a java script that could handle it i think...
I need something like the guy from dlo.net is using.

Yeah, that dlo guy has a big edge over everyone...
I was thinking about distributing it, but I am not sure right now. I wrote it myself and may offer it to the public. What would you be willing to offer?
