Launching a Javascript from an gif image
I am wondering how to launch a bookmark this site javascript from an image. Is this possible and how could I do it? I am using Dreamweaver 3 (just got this last week) so if the answer is simple and obvious, I apologize.
Thanks for your help.

You are always the first to answer my questions! And with great easy to follow help I might add.
A follow up question: can I format the code to bookmark a specific URL, such as my home page only, regardless of which page the user bookmarks?
The "Bookmark Us" image is in a header that the rest of the site uses by way of a PHP include statement. I also wonder what page title will be used (the header or the page that the header is on?)
I often think that I am in over my head ... but then what better way to learn - Trial by Fire!
Thanks again,
Bob

Hi artnow,
thanks.
....onClick="window.external.AddFavorite('http://members.aol.com/grassblad','GrassBlade')">...
Try putting the above on your site and see what gets bookmarked
You can put anything you want, on any page. It may be misleading and dishonest, but...what the hay...last time I looked no bookmark police were out gathering all the usual suspects.

Hi Vinny
I don't want to be dishonest or misleading, I just thought people would want to bookmark the home page of the site rather than the specific page they are on. The home page is the one that is always being updated the most and has the latest info. I know when I bookmark a site, I always think of it in the middle of my browsing and I click to the home page and bookmark it and then return to the page I was browsing. I guess not all people would want this would they? I think I will leave it as you first suggested then.
Thanks again for your help, it is truly appreciated.

Hi Bob,
Be dishonest.
Re bookmarking: it depends on the page. For example, I bookmark the main forum page of sites I go to -- not the homepage. With many other sites, it's the same -- if I'm interested in a specific page, it's the page I bookmark. For example, why would I want to bookmark http://www.microsoft.com ? when I can bookmark its online web workshop page? its activex page? etc..
If you want people to hit your homepage, rather than see the newest contest (presumption on my part, based on your signature), then make the bookmarks for your homepage. The user can always use their browser to bookmark the current page.
