JScript vs VBScript

I started learning ASP using JScript and found that there are only sites with VBScript examples. Why do so many ASP programmers use VB? I thought that it would be the other way around seeing that you must code client-side in JavaScript. I am not going to give up on JScript - hopefully I will find ways to do everything I need and convert others away from VB.

What's wrong with VBScript? I mean, all browsers know what it is, and it would be logical to use two MS products at once (ASP + VB).
