Irritating problem! need some help!
Hi all...
I'm new to the forum and sorry if I post this in the wrong place..
basically my problem is this:
I'm trying to create a page that has a layout like this one: (this saves explaining and reading):
my questions are:
1. how is this done? I imagine making the main body in photoshop (or whatever) and then slicing up each part to the size you want.
2. when I'm adding them as bg's to the page which has about 9 frames, how can i rezies each one to whatever i want. I mean, how do i set the main body (not the blank bgs) to say 800x600 and how do i resize each frame to what i want.
when i try to edit the source i cant understand WHERE to resize eachframe...ehhh..ok, i cant even explain it well, i hope someone can help me out and i hope you all know what i am trying to say here...
any help is appreciated
thanks in advance
Marcus
I'm using Dreamweaver MX btw...

Hi, welcome to the forums.
The answers to your questions would be;
1# Yeah, Use photoshop for your graphics, slice it with photoshop and lay it out with dreamweaver and you're done
2# have you got an example page?

It's not a good example of a framed site, in some browsers the margins are default so the content (sides, top and bottom) get cut off. If you use a longer navigation on the sides do NOT have no scrolling or no resize or people with large icons, toolbars, small screens etc wont beable to use them
