I haven't played around with Image Maps very much so I can't think of a way to do it with them. But you could always break up your image into many images then lay them out to resemble one image.

You might look at the script at http://www.bosrup.com/web/overlib/ . It isn't exactly what you want but with an image map and some tweaking you might be able to achieve the effect you want.

Thanks Jim, it's a cool idea but I don't think my cliemt would go for it.I think all I need to know now is how to make a image map hot spot trigger a image rollover in another location in a sliced image. I don't know javascript so I'll have to do some testing. Thanks again, Jon

I got it to work in IE5, but not NS4.
