Icons for webpages - How do I get a different icon to appear in the address bar (Posted by IanD)

Normally, the IE document icon (the blank page with the E) appears in the address bar to the left of the http://www.whatever.com and it also appears in Favorites... I would like to know how I can get another icon to be displayed instead.
