Mad Hi!
The website I built is 4balive.com and shoping cart is Grafix. Right now we use their (grafix) secure server for payments (we have CC machine in our store)! I would like to know next: what if I want to use secure server that my web host offer?? I think, I will have to make form (with CC information, address, etc..) and CGI file and upload that on my website host server! But where??? In what part of the server??? I called them , but the guy didn't really help me much! Are they any premade (free) scripts that I can use????
Thank you!
Sorry, English is not my firt language! :cartman:

I wish I could help, but I've never used anything like this. Sad
Hopefully someone else can answer your question.

You hide it very well then! I'm impressed by anyone who can speak (and write) more than one language. Laughing out loud

gotta finish redesigning my sites so I can show them again.

The purpose of education is... to get more jokes!

There are two type of secure installations you could have. The first is dependent on if your host allows you to share their SSL installation. If they do the url would look something like:

https://www.yourhost.com/yoursite/yoursecurefolder/paymentform.asp

A much more professional appearance and one that would instill more confidence in your shopper would be if you installed your own secure certificate. You can pick them up for next to nothing, see www.instantssl.com, but you would need you host to install the certificate and provide you with a dedicated IP address. Your payment page would then look like:

https://yoursecurefolder.yourdomain.com/paymentform.asp

In either case, anything you put in the secure folder is then encrypted and secure from prying eyes.

As for implementing the above solution with you current cart, I would suggest approaching the devlopers of the cart for more information.

I've also moved this thread to the web page authoring forum for you Wink

Hope this helps...
