I need help with links for .gifs
We have developed a newsletter which is in HTML format. I have used Frontpage. I need to link the pictures with the full link, ie http://www.sykaro.com/images/picture.gif.. but when I change the properties for the picture it does not keep the change.
I was told I needed to have the full link so that the pics would be viewable when sent.
Am I missing something simple here?
Appreciate your help,

Hi,
If I understand you right, yes you need the full url if you are sending the link to a user.
What do you mean by "...it does not keep the change"? FP2000 is reverting the absolute link to a relative one ("images/picture.gif")?
If that is the case, there should be an option to force it to keep it absolute.
If not, the easiest solution would be to save the document, call it up in Notepad (or some other text editor), edit the line manually, and save it with Notepad. (That is what I do for dHTML code and FP Xpress)
Hope this helps
Vinny
