When creating hyperlinks I cannot get the color font to change, it remains red. Do you think my host is overriding this command? They do have some control over things I can't do anything about. Thanks, ddjames.giftworldnet.com

help you solve the problem.

Your host cannot really control the colors of your hyperlinks unless you're creating the page dynamically on their website with some kind of interactive page builder.

Try inserting a The link you want in a different color or whatever color of your choice inside of the ... so it looks like this all together:

The link you want in a different color

Hope this helps... also, as far as I know, this works in both IE and Netscape. Feel free to correct me on this if I'm wrong.

Another note -- I checked out your website posted in your message and it appears to have peach-colored links. Is this the site you were talking about or was it another? The links don't look red to me on this one Smiling

I have no idea - I am on another computer at the moment and the hyperlinks are the color you saw too instead of red so, who knows?? I appreciate your advice though - thanks!

Here's another solution. Put this code inside of the tags. Insert your own values were I have placed this value: Black. You can insert either a word [if applicable] or a value.

A { color : Black ; }
A.visited { color : Black ; }
A.active { color : Black ; }
