html url link via a proxy
Does anybody know how to force a link to use a proxy, I mean something like:
a href="http://address.proxy.com:80/http://the.url.to.link ?
and in the same taste... how can I type an URL in the location bar of the browser in order to have it called through a proxy?

I think I understand why noone has responded.
What I know about proxy servers they are indeed different breeds depending on their implimentation.
Would you tell us more about the systems, networks that you are trying to code from, to etc.
It would help a lot.
I might be able to answer this one because I have extensive proxy server experience.
