How to make a downloaded QT file link to a website?
I'm wanting to make a quicktime movie that you can click on and have that open up a URL. I'm not really sure how to do this, although I have seen it done before. I need to check if its an option in QT Pro exporting but the computer is currently capturing video and I'm on one without QT Pro.
If anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it. Also, I'm not looking to spend money on any software to do this. I have FCP, QT Pro, After Effects already if these can be used.
Thanks so much!

Can you be more specific? Are you saying there was somehow a clickable link *inside* a .mov file??? I've never heard of this.
Or are you asking how to make a regular link from a page that opens the movie file on another page such as:
Launch Movie
Or
Launch Movie

If you do want a link inside a movie, the only way to do it would be to stream it with Flash and then put a blank frame with the link on after the film (or you may be able to overlay it - I don't know). To my eyes, anyway.

Maybe they positioned a div with the link inside of it over the embedded movie????
