How does microsoft do this
I am interested in how Microsoft does their menu on the left. It acts as project sevens cell rollover color changer, but when I try to recreate it, i just get the arrow as it rolls over. Microsft makes it so the whole cell is a link, not just the words. How is this done, making the hand hover over a cell instead of an arrow?
Thanks
Bryan

There are a number of ways to do this. Using lists (set to a px width), the whole cell is the link, for instance. And because they are regular hyperlinks, you get the hand hover.
However, if you're using forms instead of hyperlinks, you'd get the arrow. You can change that with CSS to be the hand (cursor: hand;) or rethink the application.
I haven't see or used project sevens script, but CSS for straight links is usually a good idea.
Microsoft's site doesn't work in anything but IE, for the most part, with the bells and whistles. Some of the actual function is broken to pieces in Netscape and on the mac as well.
