http://www2.yachtworld.com/galatiyachts/galatiyachts_1.cgi?company=galatiyachts&limit=50&type=&new=&units=Feet&page=broker&order=price

I want to be able to generate a list very similar to this. However, I do not want the usual shopping cart. The reason is the prices of the items I will list will be too expensive to put on your credit card LOL.

Is there a library or tool of sort that will allow me to create a list very similar to this?

I'm a newbie so please be gentle. Sorry if I posted this question in the wrong place.

Thanks

You could just make a static table with the data...

But I think that what your looking for is a database that will display your products and be searchable. DBMan is what my cousin uses for DigitalArt.Org. It's CGI, uses a flat file backend and doesn't have any form of shopping cart.

I know nothing about CGI programming but I can program in many 'old school' languages like pascal and c.

How hard would it be to modify this dbman to duplicate the look of the page I posted in the initial message ?

There must be more tools for doing listing like this. How do realestate people do this ?

Thanks for any help

realestate people probably higher out for someone to do this

Perl (people say) is based off of the C language. I haven't used DBMan, so I don't know how hard it would be.
