Help with Sound on a Web Page

I just learned to program some
using HTML and recently put up my first Web Page.

I took the Basic tutorial from this site RE: adding music to my Web Page.
The command Embed src= Etc,Etc
got my Web Page to show a speaker button and when I click on this button, the music starts to play.
I did it a second time, but this time with the autostart command and no button to click on.
I tested it both times by putting the code in my Email and sending it to myself.
With the button to click on it worked in my Email and is now on my Web Page. Have a look if you want, but with the autostart command  I can't get it to work. 'Any help would be much appreciated.

P.S. I am using a Sony Webtv INT-W200 to build my Web Page.
