Help with JS Hover

The fisrt time I did this script to see what would happen it worked. Since then, I keep getting popups that say internet Explorer error. What is wrong?

Also, If the image in the mouseout thing is the same, do I need to write

pic1off=new Image(120,22);
pic1off.src="help.jpg";
pic2off=new Image=(120,22);
pic2off.src="help.jpg";

is there a way to make the above shorter since it is all the same image?
