Hello everyone, please see my post in introductions.

I would like your imput and suggeestions please. I am brand new to web design, 5 weeks practice so far. I chose html as it seemed most accessable to me.

My site is almost at the point that i want it to be, however i am stuck with how to improve the links menu. The galleries i have, for example (Black and White) is growing rapidly and i would like to break the gallery down into sub-galleries.

I have tried adding the sub-galleries to the existing links menu, but it becomes too long and looks awkward. Is there a way to overcome this?
I would ultimately like visitors to click a gallery link and then they could be presented with a list of sub galleries.

Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You might want to check out some photo gallery scripts. They will let you easily add photos in categories and such without too much effort. I use Gallery. It might be a bit of a challenge to install and customize for you at this point though, but you could give it a try.

From what you have now, one idea would be to have the categories branch off from each category page. So on the black and white page you might have several highlight thumbnails and a link below for each category. You don't have to have all of the links on the front page. This might work for an information based site but for an artistic one like yours I think creating more of a path through the content is fine. It makes for more of an exploratory experience when navigating through.

Let me know if you need a better explaination of what I mean Smiling
