Hey, I was wondering if anyone here knows about a script over at the Microsoft site. It goes like this:

When you roll your mouse over the text, a little box appears right under it with different links. I asked Mr. Pollock from Pageresource.com but he could not figure it out yet..... So if any of you know this, please post on here. Thanks.

Darn! Wonder why this is so hard. I tried to find out myself by viewing the source, but I still can't. And what makes me think even more, is that its almost on every page, so it's not impossible. It's just HARD! By the way, nice site! That is, the
www.what-next.com site =:-)

I not sure what you mean.
Can you give more detailed instructions on the location and example of what you mean.
I am still learning but without giving too much away (i.e keep my job) I will be able to find this out.

It is on the front page in a blue bar just under the logo(s).

It may only come up with IE4 or 5 but I haven't tried in NS.

Just tried with Netscape and the MS script is not cross bowser ( as expected).

After i downloaded the script, i opened it but there is so many words and symbols, i don't feel like even trying to use it. Can someone put this in a easy format or explain how to use it.

As always, Leech has found the solution Smiling check out this:

Follow the instructions, and put the code on your site. (This one works with ALL browsers.) Ofcourse, you will have to mess around a little to make it look better, and if you really want it to be the same, you can change the code a little so it's triggered by a mouseover instead of a click.

The way I thought it was done, but now don't know. Is that the menubar is a simple table. Each link links to a different asp page.
It will link to the actuall page but within the link there is a seperate table which will be a target.
The table has been positioned in relativity to the other table when the onmouseover is executed it calls up the other table.

Leech,
I have already seen this menu and was not impressed with it. I found a better one at bratta.com but it is still not up to scratch. John had a go at fixing it but we were never happy with the result.
The quest goes on... Smiling

...well, I can't say I didn't try to help Smiling

I used this script in the site I have to make here (the student job I can't stop complaining about Smiling) and I wasn't completely happy with it either, but I'm to lazy to search another one... Smiling

I like to show off? No one has ever told me that before! Wink

I just want to have a good time, and a lot of people have told me to shut up before (I never listen to them, why should I?)

And about this forum... I just try to help, using the stuff I know, and hey... when I'm wrong, I'm wrong and I admit it...

Deep inside... I'm a good guy... Smiling
