Google Site Search
I'm having trouble with the Google site search form. I insert it into my code, but when I try to use it, it says it can't find my site, or something to that effect. Is there something I'm missing? Anybody wanna walk me through it? thanks in advance...

Google's site cache of your site is blank. You're not blocking it, are you?

I don't beleive so... It's a site I haven't published yet, but I'm just trying to get the google site search thing working in advance... Do I need to publish it before it will work? And if so, do I need to setup my meta tags a specific way?
By the way, you [Suzanne] should start your own forum, since you're practically the only person who ever gives me useful advice...

lol, we aim to please here.
http://www.google.com/searchcode.html is what you're using, right? Google must have you *in* their db for it to work. If you haven't published the site, then yes, it will have no bananas.

Also, no, the meta tags don't need to be in a specific way. If you have an .htaccess file blocking spiders, you may need to explicitly allow Google spiders, though.

But do I need to publish it first? Or submit it, or something?

It must have been indexed to Google, yes, otherwise how would Google be able to return results?
