Global SSI Calls - Can it be done?
****, quick question here.
I'm switching my message board from UBB to WWWBoard, in hopes of generating more discussion. My page is located in /public_html/ and the board is located in /public_html/wwwboard/.
In trying to integrate my board into the layout of the site, I want to have the same sidebar. In this sidebar, there are calls to headlines.txt, which is located in /public_html/. What would I use to access these files from /public_html/wwwboard/? I tried globally linking the SSI (<!--#include virtual="http://blahblah.com/headlines.txt"-->) with no luck. Any other ideas out there?
Sorry if that makes no sense...
*UPDATE* Sorry, duh, I tried the standard / prefix and it worked. I must jsut be tired.

Good deal. Glad to see you got it working.
