Not quite on topc, but as my graphic forum is a little quiet I thought I would come here and offer design tips.
The site would look much better if the background image had the white borders croped to give the whole BG a more continuous feeling.

The carousel is a java applet loaded from the Geocities server. The problem is probably not from your code, but from the fact that the server is very busy at times. Add that to the fact that java applets are slow to load anyway, and you get something that isn't going to work all the time.
My best advice would be to just take it out, and use the space for something that loads more quickly. Of course, that's just me.

I agree with John. With the applet only cycling 4 images you can probably find a javascript banner exchange at www.javascriptcity.com
(unabashed plug for you John )that would do what you want. You might also check for case sensitive filenames. By the way I sent a fixed background to your husband. Hope he can receive it.

My husband is working on his page and has a geocities carousel that is being a pain. The tag is right and sometimes some of the pics work other times nothing works. Just thought since you were such a big help to me, you might be able to give him a hand as well

Well JP,
As long as we are way off the subject already. How are the Tottenham (sp?) Spurs doing this year? I use to watch them play when my dad was in Germany. Are they still as good as they were 20 years ago?

Spurs are not doing to bad now (mid table) but almost got relegated to the 1st Div a while bag. They are managed by George Graham.
I'm a QPR supporter, and we are so useless that we are about to get relegated to the 2nd division!
BTW (proud comment) I play for the reserve QPR team.
