frames creating URL masking problems
hello there. I have a website that uses domain forwarding to mask the actual URL of the site. A user can enter the site and jump around pages, but the URL of each page is masked - in other words, the URL displayed in the navigator bar continues to display TheRealm101.com not the actual page address. However, recently I changed the site to use frames. when I did this, the URL's were no longer masked. the user would hit the welcome page and the URL would be masked, but once they clic into the next page, the actual URL is displayed in the navigation bar. I tried to ask my web forwarding service about this and they tell me that there is a way to fix it in the HTML code, but of course they didn't have time to tell me how to do it. do you know? please help. thank you.

Im guessing here, but it might be because your target ="_top" which wipes out the frames. Including the masking frame.
Make sense ?
So, my suggestion is take out the frames on the first page, you don't really need them. Then just do a normal link to realm2.htm
Hope you followed that.
Cheers, Marc
