Hello,

What i want to do is have a space for a customer to enter their e-mail address then have it come to my e-mail account to keep on file for a newsletter. How do i set that up. is that like a form or what. I am using Dreamweaver 2. Any ideas. I just need a space for a e-mail and then a "Suscribe" button next it which i could make so basically i just need a space for an e-mail address that will come to my account.
I think i totally just repeated myself twice but oh well

Why do you just not use a program like subscriber or listbot or mailling list manager which handles the db of email for you as well as the sending of the newsletter...

Where do i find those programs and what do you reccommend that would be less cost effective?

Listbot is free ... can't get more cost-effective than that (I assume you menat more cost-effective?)

Listbot can be registered at LinkExchange

Hi Adam,

I do what you are planning. See my home page for the subscription form.
If you do decide to do it yourself, there's an email validation script at my site that some people think is pretty good. It doesn't guarantee anything, but it will check and allow for most types of addresses.
