I currently updating my website and since starting to use CSS etc I find that Explorer users on PCs do not get a scroll-bar to move the page down... can anyone offer help with this, or why this is the case?

What makes you say IE (which I assume you meant when you said Explorer) users don't use the scroll-bar?

when users who are PCs and use IE log into my website the scroll bar at the right does not load and many users say that they cannot scroll my page to the bottom. this is a recent thing since I have updated my pages with new CSS etc.
my home page has this problem http://www.joejourneys.com, but when logged into http://www.joejourneys.com/passport/spain/barcelona.html the scroll bar is available to them.
This is not a problem with Firefox, Safari, Netscape or other browers. Not sure why this is the case.

It's not a problem with IE 7 either, only 6. It also seems to be having problems loading the page in 6.
I've never come across this problem before so hopefully someone else can help Try taking off that height: auto on the sitebox2 div. That shouldn't be necessary.
Edit: but that doesn't solve the problem. I'm investigating now.

Found it!
When something strange is happening, it's sometimes helpful to just remove whole chunks of CSS to see if anything changes. i started with the sitebox div's but that didn't do anything. I went through trying to remove other parts of your CSS (nice organization and commenting there, by the way!). Finally I narrowed it down to the body section, and specifically the body tag. The overflow: visible; was your problem. Remove that and you're good. That shouldn't be necessary anyway.
