Expert opinions wanted: What's best structural markup for subtitle?
Hello. Here's a question for you web standards hounds that I've been in a quandry about lately: What's the best structural way to do a subtitle?
Ancient Rome A History of Mediterranean Conquest
Ancient Rome
A History of Mediterranean Conquest
See what I mean? Is it better in effect to say the subtitle is just part of the title, or is it a separate, less important element that comes logically after? What do you think?

Personally I would go like this:
Ancient Rome
A History of Mediterranean Conquest
But the choice really is up to you.

Depends on whether the subtitle is a header, or just an extension of the title. I'd go with #1 if it's an extension of the title. If it's a subheading (as opposed to a subtitle), then use the , et cetera markup.
