Embedded comment forms

Had some success here getting help a couple of weeks ago. Let's see if that was just beginner's luck. Wink

The problem I'm having is with embedded comment forms on a blogger template. All of the pages EXCEPT for the Comment page have comments set to not show.

Oddly, the front page shows no comments, exactly as I'd like all the others (except the Comment page) to look:

http://mdsfortibet.blogspot.com/

But the rest of the pages show not the comment box but the Post a Comment text:

http://mdsfortibet.blogspot.com/2009/02/blog-post.html
(or click on any of the links in the sidebar)

And the Comment page shows the text 3 times:

http://mdsfortibet.blogspot.com/2009/02/blog-post_23.html

I have posting enabled across the site through the Settings menu, but have comment posting disabled on all pages except the Comment page.

Any suggestions, even other websites where to ask, will be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately I am not familiar with Blogspot.

I would suspect either admin settings - or if you have edited the template file(s) that could add the multiple instances.

Have you tried viewing the site in a different theme/template? Then you might be able to determine if your problems are with the template files or with settings somewhere.

Also, if you had to add any special code for the language display, that might be adding unwanted elements.

If all else fails, you might be able to kludge it by hiding the undesired elements with CSS (display:none or visibility:hidden)
