Email Forwarding
hello...i was wondering if i can create a file that auto forwards email. for example: someone sends an email to [email protected] i want it forwarded to [email protected]. someone sends an email to [email protected] and i want it forwarded to [email protected]
get the picture? any ideas? thanks!

depends on the type of server. not sure how to do it on a Windows server, and i'm sketchy about how to do it on *nix servers. there's a file called 'aliases' (typically at /etc/mail/aliases) - i beieve you just need to modify that and restart your mail daemon

ok...well the server is an apache server, and its set up for auto email forwarding, but it doesnt choose or anything like i want. i am running off this server for free right now, and i just want a quick solution. i dont have access to the mailserver, i only get forwarding...i reply differently. but any ideas since it is apache?

Eskater05, Apache is the web server software and has nothing to do with your emails. What mail server do you use? Don't you have a control panel (i.e. CPanel, Ensim, PLESK)?

ok...well i think its a *nix server...i dont have access to the mail server...and i have no control panel either...
