DW MX and xHTML strict (what a wonderful thing)
Just discovered this and thought you all want to know. When DW MX encounters a page with an xhtml strict doctype it disables all the font tag stuff! It's just gone!!! I wish I had discovered this earlier... now my templates will remain pure and free of ! (you know, when coworkers just don't get it...)

lol, I'm not anti-DW or anything, just happy with my BBEdit and brain combination. So far...

Okay, I was wrong. That's not what happened at all. There's a little button in the properties palette that allows you to strict between HTML and CSS design modes. I accidentally clicked that button without knowing about it and got the CSS mode. Since I didn't know about that button at the time I assumed it was because of the doctype I had just begun working with! Oops
Sorry to mislead you all! Dreamweaver MX still is a wonderful thing though
I wonder if I can covertly go into my coworkers computers and change that setting for them ... I think I'll put it in the training manual anyway..
