Dumb Question about Fonts in iEx on PC

I'm building a simple table with text.

When I use simple font attributes in a cell:

Deficiency Report

iExplorer 5 refuses to change the size of the font at all.

font size="+7">
font size="-1">
font size="7">
font size="1">

They all look the same!

If I view the page in Netscape it does change the font size.

Using WindowsNT 4.0.

What the heck is going on???
