Dragging blocks script/design
*Note* I didn't think this really fit in the site review forum since it is only an idea and not really a design yet. Feel free to move it if you think it would be better somewhere else.
Ok I saw something like this a while ago and I wanted to recreate it but never had the time. This is 100% my own scripting so I wanna know what people think of load time, browser compatibility, attractiveness, ect ect. I am thinking of using it when I post all my photophop art as a portfolio. Sort of as an element to be on the main page over a collage or something like that. It sorta artsy but also techy so it sorta fits all the work I am doing. Anyways I know its not a complete design but I just want to know how it works for everyone and whether they think it has potential. Thanks alot,

P.S - The script is basically a 3d text imaging thing but try dragging the letters too while you are there. (Gives hints into how it was done!)

I like it! Nice work.
Load time: kinda slow on 56k. Could just be my ISP or your server. Not a biggie.
Attractiveness: Not sure what to say about it... I like the colors as they are now... there's not much else to comment on.
Compatibility: Just fine in IE6. Acts funny in Opera. Every "block" is visible individually, so the "stacked" appearance is lost. Also click/drag doesn't work like in IE. No problems in NS6.2.
One suggestion: how about making the blocks sticky so they snap to each other when close?
This kinda reminds me of that 3d JS perspective thing I was supposed to be doing... I still haven't got around to it.
Again, it's looking good. Well done.

Was relatively slow for me loading on cable connection. Worked fine in IE6 but I found the style of text hard to read and not really much else to say on colours as there isn't really a site design to comment on. Acts very odd in Opera as not all of the blocks appear and then once you click on a block it 'sticks' to the cursor.
Julia - if life was meant to be easy Michael Angelo would have painted the floor....

Thanks for those comments. I think it my be my host or it could be the page however with images and js its like 10k maybe. Anyways I will see what I can do with impossible Opera. When I apply it to a site design I will repost. For now thanks alot,
