Do I have to publish w. FP in order for FP extentsion to work??
I have created a website in Frontpage and now want to create a feedback form. However, when I test the form online i get the following message:
"FrontPage Run-Time Component Page
You have submitted a form or followed a link to a page that requires a web server and the FrontPage Server Extensions to function properly.
This form or other FrontPage component will work correctly if you publish this web to a web server that has the FrontPage Server Extensions installed."
I have already checked that my server has FP Extensions 2002 installed, so I don't know what's wrong??
I have uploaded the pages via normal FTP software. Do I have to publish my website via Frontpage in order to for the FP extensions to work???
Does anybody know what might be wrong??

You might need to. You also need to look at the version of FP on your machine versus the FP extensions available on your server. Some components from your machine might need to be uploaded with the site files that don't get to be uploaded with regular ftp...

Agreed with Demonhale that you might want to take a look at what version you have vs the FP server extensions.
I use fp quite a few years back and NEVER uploaded thru FP. So it should work just fine!
