Hey everyone...

I'm trying to add some templates to my site for online viewing but they are coming up distorted looking when I upload them and click on them to enlarge. This is what I've done...

1. Did a screen shot with print screen and saved to my hdd
2. Thumbnailed the screen shot and saved in hdd as another file name
3. Put a thumbnail of the screen shot on my site
4. Then hyperlinked the thumbnail of the screen shot to the orignial screen shot (size of original shot is 800*600)
5. upload and then click on hyperlink and it is all distored and small

What did I miss in these steps?

Thanks in advance

What resolution are you using? If you are using 800x600, and you are opening only the 800x600 image in your browser, both Firefox and IE will resize the image to fit in your viewable window (unless settings were changed).

In Firefox, does your cusor change to a Zoom In icon (magnifying glass with a + in it), if so, click somewhere on the picture. In IE, slowly move your pointer around the bottom right corner of the image, an icon should pop up to click on to show the image at full size.

If this is what is happening, try shrinking the image saze down, say take it to about 80% or so.

PS. I just checked your profile and found the link to your site. If that is the site you are talking about, I saw where you have the templates. It is most likely the browser resizing your images. in looking at your screen shots, put your pointer just above where the time is at on your screenshot, let it set there for 1/2 a second and the button to expand the image should come up.

Also, you may want to take the images into an editor and crop out all but the display of the site, eliminating the wasted space of the task bar, and menus/toolbars of IE.
