How come they don't work together in opera?
I'm doing a redesign of a site that I made ages back (still in the design stages so it may not look like it is now)

As you can see, the line becomes an overline I have no idea what is causeing this. On other sites that I have either used no underline or have use border-bottom:1px solid #000000; but I thought, that I'd need to ask this sooner of later...
Does anyone know why this happens?

I take it your having trouble with Opera6 ?

yes ok, but what if you want it to underline on hover? you can't can you? and yes this is on Opera6

Renegade. I had the same problems with opera. No go on that. I tried to workaround it but nothing worked. Sorry.
