CSS with hands tied - works in IE 4.0, not NS 4.0
Hello,
I canNOT get this code to work. I need the link rollovers to work the same in Netscape, to popup a tool tip, as they do in Internet Explorer.
I am sure at this point that I am overlooking something simple. Check it out at:

To further complicate matters, I cannot add or link a style in the HEAD, it must be inline or somehow included in the span tag.
Any and all suggestions are most appreciated.

Trying that trick with NS is probably nearly impossible right now. I had one like that, but if I had one thing right, it would do the background right. If I fix the background, something else went wrong. If both browsers provide a standard for CSS this wouldn't be too hard.

Hi!
Thanks for your reply. I actually did get it to work in Netscape, by simply copying a piece of code that did work. The scary thing is that it was exactly the same, I had already checked it character by character! Here is the URL. http://members.aol.com/Lorrie2far/popUp85t.htm
And after all that work, my supervisor trashed the idea yesterday. Big smile!
Thank you Very much.

Glad to see it's working, and thanks for the sample url.
Too bad the boss trashed the idea after you had it worked out!
Oh well, at least you know if it comes up again.
